01. About these terms
These terms apply to services ordered from Namelogy Studio, also known as Namelogy 焕名, through www.namelogy.my. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Return Policy before ordering. Questions can be sent to namelogy.my@gmail.com.
02. Our services and prices
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR / RM).
- Name Assessment / 名字审测 — RM188: review of one current Chinese name, covering pronunciation, meaning, character components and overall interpretative alignment, with a report and a score from 0 to 100.
- Name Fine-Tuning / 名字微调™ — RM888: personalised adjustments to the existing name, where appropriate, under our 名字微整™ approach.
- Complete Renaming / 名字更改 — RM3,888: a separately commissioned new name; normally recommended only where the assessment score is below 30.
- Baby Naming and Brand Naming: available by consultation, with scope and price agreed before payment.
Name Assessment is required before selecting Fine-Tuning or Complete Renaming. These are separate services; an assessment does not include a new name or automatically pay for a later service. Any package inclusion or credit must be expressly confirmed before purchase. Our current website checkout is for the RM188 assessment. Any additional charge must be disclosed and agreed before it is incurred.
03. Nature and limits of the assessment
Our analysis is based on traditional naming culture and interpretative methods. Scores and recommendations are not scientifically validated measurements, diagnoses or predictions of future events. “Alignment”, “energy” and similar language describe this cultural approach.
We do not promise improvements in luck, wealth, health, career, relationships or other life outcomes. Results also depend on personal choices, circumstances and actions. This service is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice and does not replace qualified professional advice. We do not undertake legal name-registration procedures or guarantee approval by any authority. Website examples identified as illustrative cases are not verified customer testimonials.
04. Eligibility and information accuracy
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract, or act as an authorised parent or legal guardian. Provide accurate names, dates and contact details, and obtain permission before submitting another person’s data. Tell us promptly if you discover an error. A materially changed name or birth date after analysis begins may require a new assessment; any additional work and fee will be explained for your approval first.
05. Ordering and payment
After submitting the form, you will be directed to Stripe’s hosted checkout. Submission alone is not payment confirmation. We begin processing the paid service after payment is verified and the necessary information is complete. A return to our website or a payment screenshot alone does not establish successful payment.
Only the displayed service and agreed scope are purchased. Please contact us if a payment appears duplicated or your order remains unconfirmed after you have paid. Do not repeatedly pay for the same order without checking with us.
06. Reports and delivery
Name Assessment reports are normally sent to the WhatsApp number provided within approximately 3–5 working days after confirmed payment and receipt of complete, accurate information. Working days exclude weekends and Malaysian public holidays. If clarification is needed or a delay arises, we will explain the revised timing. Fine-Tuning, Complete Renaming, Baby Naming and Brand Naming have separately agreed delivery arrangements.
Please ensure your contact number is correct and reachable. Contact us if you cannot access the report or have not received it within the expected timeframe. We will investigate delivery issues; statutory remedies for non-delivery remain available.
07. Cancellations, corrections and refunds
Our Return Policy explains cancellation requests, customised work, duplicate payments and service issues. Please notify us of factual errors or missing agreed content so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy. Disagreement with an interpretative recommendation does not by itself mean the agreed service was defective, but this does not remove your legal rights.
08. Use of reports and website content
Personal assessment reports are supplied for your personal use; you may use a suggested name as intended. Our branding, website materials and report templates remain the property of their respective owners. Do not resell our reports, copy our materials for commercial publication or misrepresent our endorsement without permission. Brand-naming usage rights, where relevant, must be agreed separately. You remain responsible for any necessary trademark or registration checks.
09. Responsible use and liability
Do not misuse the website, interfere with its security, send abusive messages or submit unlawful content. We may restrict misuse and will address any affected paid order fairly.
We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the agreed service. We are not responsible for life outcomes or independent decisions based on cultural interpretation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or any duty, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Changes, governing law and contact
The terms presented when you place an order govern that order unless a lawful change is agreed. Updates apply to future orders and do not retrospectively remove existing rights. These terms are governed by Malaysian law, without excluding any mandatory protection or competent consumer tribunal available to you.
